Pacific Blue Cross has been British Columbia’s leading benefits provider for over 70 years. Their comprehensive understanding of health care fuels their commitment to service. Together with BC Life, their subsidiary, they provide health, dental, life, disability and travel coverage for approximately 1.5 million British Columbians through employee group plans and through individual plans for those who do not have coverage with their employer.
We worked with Pacific Blue Cross to design a new Knowledge Repository for them to manage all of their internal documents and files. They were using Microsoft SharePoint and were looking at migrating to Alfresco as an open source solution. Over the course of 2 months, we conducted extensive information discovery workshops and requirements analysis, producing a number of requirements and design documents to help PBC implement their new system.
